Scope Markets Account Types
Two live account configurations and a demo — what each one is priced at and who it is meant for.
Open a Trading Account →Scope Markets runs two live account configurations plus a demo. One Account is the main retail account — MetaTrader 5, average spreads from 0.9 pips, leverage up to 1:1000, $50 minimum deposit, USD or ZAR. Scope Invest covers fractional share CFDs at 1:1 leverage with 0% commission and no swap charge. Both stop out at 30%.
How the accounts differ
- Scope Markets merged its older retail tiers into a single main offering called One Account: average spreads from 0.9 pips, leverage up to 1:1000 and access to forex, indices, shares, commodities, metals, energies, futures and cryptocurrency CFDs.
- Scope Invest is the second configuration: fractional share exposure executed as CFDs, average spreads from 0.1 pips, 0% commission on all instruments, no swap or financing charge, leverage fixed at 1:1 and long (buy) positions only.
- Both live configurations run on MetaTrader 5 and can be denominated in USD or ZAR, and both state a minimum deposit of $50 — around 500 ZAR on the local funding table.
- One Account charges no commission on most markets, but futures and commodities carry a commission of $5 per lot per side, with separate published rates on some exchanges.
- The stop-out level is 30% on both configurations, and One Account supports micro lots from 0.01 so a position can be kept small while a strategy is tested.
